Hi everyone, I’m In the need of an offline calendar and gallery now that simplemobiletools got sold off. I’m wondering what you guys use? My bad if the formatting is weird on this post, I’m trying out a new lemmy client...
common complaint about movie audio is ‘the speech is too quiet and the action is too loud’. this can be resolved with dynamic range compression or normalization. ffmpeg provides a normalization filter called dynaudnorm which u can use in mpv via --af=“dynaudnorm”.
i am fortunate enough to not need a vm often, but the last time i had to use one, i just didnt bother with win11 and used a win 10 installer image. also i think the xiaomi tool didnt/doesnt work with usb 3.0 so i had to use usb 2.0 drivers in order to flash
emacs is close to that besides all the ctrl+ combinations being nonsensical. the actual reason either arent very popular is the steep initial curve and the fact that most people dont even care about editing text that much and also the delayed gratification for the amount of time it takes to get used to. but once ure used to vim u kinda want vim everywhere
i have an ad blocker on my desktop so i never see them. as far as i know the adverts are particular to this isp and the others dont do that, but all of them block more or less the same amount of websites. this is actually one of the largest providers in the country too.
in terms of content of those ads they are largely the government line about the ukraine conflict and some other affairs. i dont think ive seen the typical 2010s pop culture bait ads. the videos tend to be some store advertisements like leroy merlin.
This is super serious you guys (lemmy.zip)

RANT: I hate the fact that my ISP can restrict access to certain sites
How can it possibly be, that an ISP, which I’m paying for gets to decid, which sites I’m allowed to have access to, and which not?...
