I recently stumbled upon this announcement of the long awaited Copilot Pro. I need to prepare a PowerPoint presentation this week so any capacity to use this for free would be tremendous. Thanks y’all!
Knowing or not how to make them, they’re still barely useful. They convey less information than a written report, and nobody goes back to a slide deck for reference if given a choice between that and a PDF. When printed as handouts, they’re a waste of paper. Their “need” basically comes down to graphic information, which could be in a boring report too.
I find –help to be often useful, but man is hard to sell. As a tool to know more details of an option or to know everything that’s available, it’s great. As a first contact with the CLI tool or a quick lookup, man past the first paragraph is often a waste of time. For most lookups cheat.sh is much quicker.
Though I’ve recently been using clipea with GPT-4, and it’s by far the best experience. Fastest way to have straightforward one-liners that do pretty much what you asked for.
I have been distro hopping for about 2 weeks now, there’s always something that doesn’t work. I thought I would stick with Debian and now I haven’t been able to make my printer work in it, I think I tried in another distro and it just worked out of the box, but there’s always something that’s broken in every distro....
My thoughts exactly. I still remember when the reversed engineered codes for the classic GTAs were out (RE3), all GitHub forks were quickly taken down.
it’s like when they compute losses for pirated content, just assuming every download would be equivalent to a Golden Edition Purchase at the highest price charged in their history, when in reality they’d be lucky to convert 1% of those downloads into sales.
What could be reasons for my rsync, which is syncing two remote servers through ssh, to slow down over time like this? It keeps happening. How to check what is the bottleneck?
I read a comment on here some time ago where the person said they were using cloudflared to expose some of their self-hosted stuff to the Internet so they can access it remotely....
I’m happy to adopt a new podcast app if it has sponsorblock natively or through a plug-in. Otherwise let me know if there’s some other way to make it work. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work as all of the segments tagged for skipping are crowdsourced which would also work for Podcasts.
I wish there was. I listen to this particular podcast that has the same sponsor for years and they do make it much more entertaining than the average podcast, but I still find myself manually skipping it every time I sense it coming. And because they make it more part of the conversation, the ad moment lasts for minutes each episode, so I’m sure every regular listener had enough of that.
I’ve been just not updating Nova as I haven’t had a ton of time to research this, I really like the GUI, what are my privacy friendly/FOSS options for an android s21 5G?...
Same. I felt I couldn’t live without Nova, now I feel like I can’t live without KISS. I really like the “swipe and type” flow to open an app and touching an empty area to open the recent entries. All that depends on your settings ofc. It’s not the prettiest, but it’s by far the fastest launcher I’ve had.
Porn sites Pornhub, XVideos, and Stripchat face stricter requirements to verify the ages of their users after being officially designated as “Very Large Online Platforms” (VLOPs) under the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA)....
I’ve used it for a few documents and loved it. There’s a learning curve, but I’m glad they’re not carrying the technical debt latex has, so it’s definitely worth the effort IMO.

Is there a sponsor block situation for Podcasts?
