When I started out my limit was less than I made in a month and I paid for everything with it. That was hard to fuck up and helped me build good spending habits. Currently I have one that is about 2x my monthly salary that I use for larger purchases but still the concept remains similar.
They could have easily crammed the Steam Deck full of stuff to make it hard to use for piracy - locking down everything, making it usable only to play games you legitimately own, force you to go through who knows what hoops in order to play games on it. That’s what Nintendo or Apple or most other companies do....
I think they’re talking about the OG one not whatever they’re doing since then and they’re 100% correct. Every track on the Ipod nano I had was pirated. Idk what apple has done since then because that was the only apple device I ever used at all and I ended up replacing it with PSP but they did originally benefit from piracy because I wouldn’t have bought it if I wasn’t able to add my own music like that.
I had a similar experience trying to install a m.2 drive in my win7 PC. It needed a hotfix to work but Microsoft had taken down the downloads so I ended up finding out it was in an update pack from I think Lenovo’s website and pulled it out of that.
Would love to know what you guys think and your reasoning for it. I’m starting to see a lot of Apple Watches/Fitbits/Galaxy Watches in my area compared to more traditional timepieces.
The whoop band looks like what I’m looking for but that membership is too steep for something that I just want to gather data. Thanks for the recommendations.
The car doesn’t have to be in gear for the oil pump to run. If the engine is running the oil pump is on. That’s why there’s a red light that looks like an oil can when the key is on before you start it but it turns off when the engine is running because there is oil pressure. If that light is on when the engine is running you need to shut it off immediately or you’re going to be replacing an engine.
Yes let me buy a DRM free file download I can use on any of my devices for a reasonable price and I’ll give you my money… Unfortunately only piracy offers that currently. (Except books and games, which I do pay for).
Cats do too. My cat would wake me up if my alarm didn’t go off on time. Also he understood the difference between weekdays and weekends somehow because it didn’t happen on my days off.

What are your "poor person" money life hacks?
Let’s get a list going. Like with a Target debit card you can get $40 cash back and it takes 1 to 2 days to be withdraw from your checking.
I feel like the Steam Deck is the best proof of Gabe Newell's quote that "piracy is a service issue."
