otp, to asklemmy in Have you ever seen a rudolph moment happen in real life?

I’m still waiting for your Rudolph moment here.

Tell us how you’ll guide the sleigh tonight!

otp, to asklemmy in is there a term for words such as inflammable?

Not sure, but another example is “irregardless”

otp, to asklemmy in What are some generational differences between millennials and Gen Z ?

Where did you live that has people who blamed East Asian people for 9/11?

The ignorant people here were blaming Indians and other South Asians, and that was the limit of ridiculousness where I grew up

otp, to asklemmy in What are some generational differences between millennials and Gen Z ?

I think “Where are you” was perfectly acceptable when we had landlines. It was before phones that that was almost never asked.

otp, to mildlyinteresting in Condensation on my window makes a cool effect

Thanks. I often open my windows when I can, but I’ve been getting really dry skin since I’ve started opening them. Which made me think I need a humidifier…

My home’s air seems to fluctuate between way too dry and way too humid, and I don’t know how or why or what to do to fix it, lol

otp, to asklemmy in What do ridiculously rich people (like Bill Gates etc.) ask for/get for Christmas/birthdays/etc.?

I think that some people, regardless of wealth/income don’t really want “items” to unwrap. That makes sense.

I was imagining that, for Bill Gates (etc.), they could literally just hop on a private jet and fly anywhere in the world to eat at any restaurant they want prepared by a world-class chef. So even certain experiences would be hard to match at home.

Is it usually a home-cooked dinner or a restaurant for you?

otp, to linux in Linux Mint 21.3: Empowering tech-savvy Moms with the Perfect Desktop Experience

Who’s mom

OP is [a] mom, of course!

I do think you need that “a” after “who’s”, though.

otp, to asklemmy in The 2024 US Presidential race officially starts Monday, what are your predictions for Iowa?

Canada doesn’t look like clothing though!

America is Canada’s shorts. Florida’s the dong.

otp, to asklemmy in The 2024 US Presidential race officially starts Monday, what are your predictions for Iowa?

North America’s hat, the arctic ice cap?

otp, to asklemmy in What's some amazing technology they have in Japan that's very normal to them but would blow our minds here in the US and western world?

I love places where you can just get it yourself. Rare here in North America, but all over the place in Korea

otp, to gaming in Where are all the games featuring skunks as playable characters?

There’s the Stunky line in Pokemon, but that’s all I’ve got.

Interesting question!

Someone is going around downvoting everyone who says something good about Anker without replying to any of the comments.

Poor etiquette, imo
