This is very sweet for them. If I imagine it happening to me, it makes me want to shrivel up.

runjun,

I just realized that I’m probably older than George. At least in the earlier seasons.

runjun,

Why would you do this? 😞

runjun, (edited )

Kimchi grilled cheese is really good. If you like kimchi at all, give it a shot.

One iImade a bit back

runjun,

After Reddit shut off 3rd party apps, I came here and resolved to read more. In the previous decade I had read maybe 2 books. I think your resolution is achievable but i would make it ridiculously achievable of reading like 1 min a day.

The habit of reading is what you want and the books will come after that and chances are you will read much longer. Don’t read anything you “should” be reading. Get a “popcorn flick” equivalent that you interests you and isn’t challenging.

Here is what I have read since June.

Waking Gods by Sylvain Neuvel

Only Human by Sylvain Neuvel

Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes

Shogun by James Clavell

Circe by Madeline Miller

The Secret History by Donna Tartt

The Player of Games by Iain M. Banks

I, Robot by Isaac Asimov

The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett

The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami

Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer

Wool by Hugh Howey

Shift by Hugh Howey

Dust by Hugh Howey

Luna: New Moon by Ian McDonald

A Deepness in the Sky by Vernor Vinge

(Reading) A Fire Upon the Deep by Vernor Vinge

runjun,

Candles are way too expensive for this. I’m sure you could get a solar lantern at the “99¢” store.

runjun,

Life pro tips with Shrek.

runjun,

I agree that they are a waste for most people. I have friends that have used theirs near daily going on 20 years.

runjun,

Also me at 2k hours but I got a few friends into it. Then they’re better at it than me in like 200-400 hours lol

runjun,

This was FPS games back in the day for me.

runjun,

When I worked retail, the loop of simply having made me nearly physically ill.

runjun,

Seeing that many tabs gives me actual anxiety.

KrrrrSCHHHHRRRRRRRRkt

runjun,

Due to how I look and where I work, conservatives constantly assume I am one too. I used to discuss/debate them about their views. I gave that up. Now I just say I disagree so that even if they tell others that everyone that talk to agrees with them, somewhere in the back of the their mind they know that’s not true.

runjun,

Let this be a lesson to ya, don’t be a never post.

runjun,

I don’t like that this made me chuckle. Good job.

runjun,

I met my wife on POF. Before that, I paid for a a different service and got absolutely no where. Really hope that service is fucking dead.

runjun,

When I got to Ohio, I was so confused when people called it the Midwest. I was like, have you seen a map.

runjun,

Yes but more importantly reward. If you spend time dig into a game system, you will be rewarded by the system. Whereas life, you can do everything right and still lose.
