“The Fellowship of the King” title is a combination of the titles of the first book in the LOTR trilogy “The Fellowship of the Ring” and the third book “The Return of the King”.
“The Two Trees” title is similar to the second book in the LOTR trilogy “The Two Towers”
This was far down in the story therefore many of you may have missed it…
We do know that some of these men were released after having been detained initially. One of Hani’s cousins was released after a couple of hours in detention. So it may be that many of these men that we’ve seen in these videos have since been released by Israel…
This is northern Gaza we’re talking about. They were given an evacuation order, and it might be that the Israelis feel anyone who remains poses a threat because they didn’t leave.
Do you mean weakens the Hamas position militarily? Or do you mean weakens the Israeli position militarily?
I understand WB is Fatah controlled who are more inclined towards a 2SS which is why Bibi supported Hamas (until it backfired on Oct 7).
I also read a Reddit comment about how taking land from settlers and returning it to Palestinians would make the border larger and Israel more vulnerable but I don’t understand how that is so.
I got banned this week from r/aboringdystopia for “spreading misinformation” by sharing a france24 link (credible established newspaper) debunking thegrayzone (whatever that is).
If it would have been 5°C this could ave caused serious medical issues. it would have been freezing, some of them could have reached life threatening hypothermia.
If it would have been hailing they could have been knocked unconscious.
If there was a hurricane they could have been dashed against the concrete walls.
If there was a meteorite they could have been pulverised.
If they didn’t have dicks they could have been women.
If they were 5 years old they would have been children.
If they had long necks and four legs they could have been giraffes.
Sorry. I misjudged you. Been on Reddit too long. No room for nuance there.
The significance is that media is still often relaying Hamas claims as if fact and you might have been relying wholly on such reports.
That hospital incident was clearly Hamas bs from the outset - no photos, a video of the carpark leaked within 24 hours, Al Jazeera themselves unwittingly streamed live footage of the misfiring rocket.
Hamas is maintaining a stockpile of more than 200,000 gallons of fuel for the rockets it fires into Israel and the generators that provide clean air and electricity to its network of underground tunnels, according to U.S. officials, current and former Israeli officials and academics.
Israel released photos of Hamas fuel stores however I don’t understand how they can know if there is anything in them.
Maybe night time infrared imagery indicates that full ones retain heat? (And maybe water would retain it differently?). But even if we presume that is possible, why don’t IDF just bomb them if they are so sure it is Hamas fuel?
it was Palestine which refused a two state solution several times.
I thought there was a trial period of the 2SS but it failed because the PLO leadership was corrupt - Palestinians shamed two ministers into quitting but Arafat refused to quit.
That was my takeaway from the Wikipedia entry anyhow.
However I did watch a documentary once about Shin Bet (interviewing many ex Shin Bet leaders) which gave the impression that the 2SS failed because of Jewish religious zealots who assassinated one of the 2SS architects: Rabin.
