taanegl,

The Sapmi are really taking up the fight here, you guys, not just for them, but for Norwegians as well.

For some context, the windmills in Norway are EXTREMELY disliked. Partly because trusting cost cutting European companies was a mistake (they are proned to error have a tendency to fall apart) and partly because they make the Norwegian landscape look ugly AF.

Fun fact about Norwegians, is that we are suppusedly “national romantics”, in that norwegians supposedly worship the forests , the mountains, the fjords… until the deforestation, wanting to dump coals in the fjords, the fucking cruise liner tourism my fucking GOD the cruise liner tourism…

Suffice to say, our neo-liberal parties are a bunch of toadies. I and many other Norwegians thank the Sapmi for checking the powers that be. But we still gotta protest, we still gotta make sure collective power isn’t trumped by elitism.

Also, the government “gave back” a ton of land to a Baron family, which was acquired by the Norwegian government because all nature belongs to Norwegians. Its now being defrosted as we speak. See how neo-liberalism is also fucking up Norway?

taanegl,

Historically speaking, IME has been a low hanging fruit of attack vectors and intel has arguably speaking had worse problems with security vulnerabilities on hardware and firmware levels than say AMD or ARM. A bit anecdotal, but there you are.

taanegl,

I’m sorry, but you just lost your job and have had your priveliges revoked. Don’t worry though. All you need to do is meet a local liberal for retraining to get it back. We will furnish you with a church and talking points so that you may return to the labour force.

Have a lovely day, and remember: if it’s gotta be complex, make it military industrial.

taanegl,

This person has visualisers and I’m here for it.

taanegl,

He’s a mad man, a mad man!

But cool! Any hopes for image and video support?

taanegl,

That’s the best impression of crumpled up hotdog bread I’ve seen.

taanegl,

I know. This was clapback to all those who think the notion of voting third party does anything else but taking away votes from the democrats. It’s naive, it’s dumb, it’s quite frankly ignorant. Change in power dynamics happens from the ground up, not the top down.

Just calling a spade a spade.

taanegl,

How about just fork it, remove all previous tags and commits, then form a cult around the repo.

They say if you compile it at midnight the caves in Russia that are said to emanate the sound of hell starts sounding like a 56k modem.

[Video] Red Hat Is About To End Xorg: Is Wayland Ready? (www.youtube.com)

Come the next major release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat is officially dropping the Xorg package, whilst it’ll still be available in RHEL 9 until 2032 the countdown has begun, Xorg is on the way out. Are you and your software going to be ready in time....

taanegl,

Here’s the repo for xserver. It’s basically a collective effort between developers who represent certain companies, among them Oracle - and RedHat.

taanegl,

Population indeed doesn’t grow during a genocide.

Living under the tyranny of those who took your land, destroyed your cultural heritage and then swept your suffering and the death of your loved ones under the rug, using terrorism as some sort of justification? This is something you’ll have to clear with the native Americans and Inuits, even some other nomadic people.

Like again, I alluded to the Roma people (or Gypsy’s) for a reason. A broken folk, subjected under Romania (even though it has nothing to do with Roma folk), the “gypsies” lost their land in the North of India. Ever since, they’ve wandered as a people without ancestral lands, and that is a huge problem for not only the psyche, but also the culture has been subverted, destroyed and is but a husk of it’s former self.

This is why the technical definition of genocide has moved beyond body count.

taanegl,

Discovery is a Twitter debate between leftwing edge lords, and I’m not afraid to say it.

taanegl,

Can’t say I have. Haven’t used hibernation mode for years even. Sleep mode is just too good nowadays for me to use it, so I guess we could chalk that up to a fault of the setup.

According to ReadTheDocs (BTRFS, swapfile) it’s possible under certain circumstances, but requires the 6.1 kernel to do it in a relatively easy way.

taanegl,

If anyone would lock their OS down like that, it would be Canonical.

taanegl,

Well yes, it can, but it requires power. Vast amounts of energy. It’s still about the energy, even in the distant future, because I swear to the prophets, it never ends. It just doesn’t stop not stopping.

taanegl,

Easy because the combined shine from our skulls would manifest into a cataclysm causing deathray. If you see two bald people fighting, throw a wig on one of them to save the world.

taanegl,

“Contrived” is a better word I guess. I don’t feel like many of the arcs have been fleshed out, leading to conclusions that are ill deserved Burnham as a character arc is a perfect example of this. I think she gets everything served to her on a silver platter, that the action setpieces are not enough to justify the order of things. This might be an issue with cutting for time, but still.

taanegl,

He said nay, this was not the sweet soul fulfilling harmony of cherubim, but only admiration of it’s greatness. He proclaimed unto them that he couldn’t remember the greatest psalm in the world, that his words then and there was but a tribute.

taanegl,

I’d like to call if expiration date roulette.

taanegl,

“Get tracked” sounds like a cyberpunk slur. Like “get tracked, ya gonk!”

taanegl,

He’s right though, despite the fact that just the thought of dealing with ACPI stresses me out.

taanegl,

Woa, woa, WOA! Reign it back my dude!

Like I agree, in some ways.

Biden seems like he was easily swayed by the Zionist propaganda engine, but that’s what they do. They literally fly people in from around the world for free to brainwash them. He’s an old and frail man who shouldn’t be the head of state, really.

Israelis want Bibi out,“after the war”… which is weak, and the Israeli government should be taken to court for crimes against humanity. The Israeli people should REALLY take inventory with their Zionist nationalist parties. But they won’t do that by way of antagonism.

Hamas should be replaced with a new national Palestinian election (they’ve been in power since the early 00s) because they do not represent Palestinian interests. They are shills for the authoritarian Iranian government who continue to flare up conflicts in the middle East for their own selfish gains and their own hatred for the US.

The US needs to deal with it’s corruption and broken checks and balances, like their laws that are gamed and plugged full of holes. They also have a huge problem with outrage, hampering their democracy’s decision making. Congressmen and presidents should not be the decision makers of military budgeting or military engagement. That should be regulated (but not instantiated) by the pentagon. The pentagon actually advised against going into both Iraq and Afghanistan.

But all that doesn’t matter now. What matters is you. All this can be incredibly taxing on the mind. Believe me, I know. You may have lost someone or feel the pain of the people, but you’ll be powerless to help anyone if your balance is out of whack.

Right now you gotta think about you. You are loved, you are worthy and you deserve peace of mind. But you have to moderate your intake, because it can break just about anyone and can scare away those who do love you.

Again: trust me, I know.

Please, take a break. If not for me, or for yourself, then do it for the ones around you who love you.

If you want to vent or to call me an idiot, you can send me a DM to keep it private.

I hope I come across as nothing but concerned. I do not think lesser of you. I wish you the best.
