Every interaction between Gale and Elminster be like
pyrflie, Gale has a nuke in his chest entirely through his own actions.
Elminster & Mystra gave him a button instead of a lit fuse. They also left control of said button in his hands.
Considering the scale of what he was fucking around with this was incredibly generous.
