Unable to access main instance main account last few hours

Been using Connect for months, great app! I am in Beta program. Last few hours I am unable to access my main instance (lemmy.sdf.org) using my main account with it, I get error

Error An error occurred when retrieving from Lemmy. sdf.org. Details: type ‘Null’ is not a subtype of type ‘bool’ in type cast

I am able to access this using desktop browser. I am able to access alt accounts on other instances using Connect.

How to fix this?

As some commenters here have pointed out this is due to SDF upgrading their server to version 0.19 which isn’t ready and breaks app support- see

I have the exact same issue here trying to connect to lemmy.sdf.org. Hope it gets fixed soon.

SDF is running 0.19 which I think changed the logon system - so Connect will need updating to work with it.

SDF has Server side problems, I’ve already messaged SDF about that, hope he fixes it (outgoing federation broken and apps can’t connect)

This came through for some reason

Idk if its an accident or something but if that works and the app doesn’t then message SDF about ot
