There’s a Technology Connections video where he cuts a hole in a dishwasher to install a plexiglass sheet. It leaked like hell, but you do get to see inside while it’s running.
There are plenty of dishwashers with windows. Unlike the others devices mentioned, you don’t need to see what’s in there. The window is just for fun. They make you pay for fun.
You don’t need to see what’s going on in a washing machine either, yet the fun window is usually included. Maybe washing machines were invented before paid dlcs. Or a see through water splash machine looks bad in a kitchen.
I think I remember reading somewhere, that people simply didn’t trust the washing machines and therefore didn’t use them. Adding a window made it possible to see what’s going on and build trust in the machines
Sadly, the design is unfeasible as eventually the rotational force either separates the bread from the butter, or liquidises the internal organs of the cat when they reach peak generating speed.
The rapid disassembly of the mechanism can cause quite an amount of damage as well.
Perhaps we can limit the speed by increasing the strength of the generator… but of course that introduces the risk of ripping the cat apart from raw force
Fun fact: they used to line the wind chests that held the pressurized air and pipes with asbestos until around the 1970s… so yeah you can technically get cancer from pipe organs.
ICJ ruled on the validity of Colombia’s claims to islands off the coast of Nicaragua. It’s ironic because the islands are four times the distance from Columbia than Nicaragua, but they ruled Columbia’s territorial claims include all the way out to the islands. It’s almost 500 miles of water claims that are now included in Columbia’s territory. Meanwhile, Costa Rica is in the corner with the least amount of water territory in the Caribbean. This is the recent judgement reuters.com/…/world-court-rejects-nicaragua-claim… . And this is the last time the case was heard circleofblue.org/…/colombia-vs-nicaragua-dispute-…
I also had this problem onest, but I solved it, just drink much water one hour before you go sleeping. I drink nothing, and go to the bathroom, right before I want to sleep, I drink only a little, little bit and try to sleep.
It works, Trust me.
Yea, and than I am waking 20 minutes before my alarm rings up. :)
