Thank god for that website, I can't imagine being an aging millennial in 1980 with all the kids talking about "radical" this and "cowabunga" that and not have anything to look up.

samus12345, “Cowabunga” shouldn’t have been a mystery to them, at least, because it originates from Howdy Doody in 1949.

samus12345, Ninja Turtles got it from 60’s surfer slang (since that’s how Michelangelo speaks) and gave it new life for a few years.

can, I’m curious, how recently did you have to look it up? For me it feels ancient compared to the likes of “rizz” but that’s probably due to the circles I’ve been in.
