It really is funny. The only reason I went to reddit is that my phone app for news at the time (2011) took a shit and someone recommended reddit. I downloaded an app and that was the only way I interacted with reddit for over a decade. Then he killed that app and I figured if I’m going to have to adjust to a new app, I’m going elsewhere. What a dumbass.

There are a fair few mods who are genuinely installed by the admins to be fascists, and if any of the other mods complain they get kicked out. Also I have yet to see a single instance of some group in power joking that they’re nazis where they didn’t end up actually being nazis.
He is notorious for Microsoft’s anti-competitive practices in the 1990s. But, I wouldn’t put him in that company today. His philanthropy since leaving Microsoft is no joke.
