radioactiveradio, Is it heavier than feathers tho?
huge_clock, What size of feather?
Madison420, XXL small.
radioactiveradio,
huge_clock, Then no.
TryingToEscapeTarkov, Bould of them to assume they know sizes.
Shardikprime, Looks bouldery enough to me
BustinJiber, Looks something like 50 capybaras big?.. more?
hperrin, Are we talking volumetric capybaras or massive capybaras?
Dave, 50? 50! I can’t imagine that large boulder the size of a small boulder is the same size as 50 of these?
FlyingSquid, This is what happens when cops are in charge of their own social media.
Wilibus, Nah, this is what happens when society is more concerned with sensationalism than factuality.
TheMagicalTimonini, It was a little boulder, such a little boulder, but it reminded me of a large boulder, yeah just in miniature size.
Rubanski, Is this Bob the Boulder?
vyper63, Coloradan here. This tweet was a joke response from the sheriff’s department to a previous incident where they described a large boulder the size of a large boulder blocking the road.
cholesterol, Probably meant to write ‘the size of a large car’ originally?
Shardikprime, I read coruscantian at first and was thinking about the incident where half a ship shaped ship dropped on us the last week
vyper63, Update: I was wrong. The officer meant to say “the size of a small car”. The “larger boulder the size of a large boulder” tweet came later as a joke reference to this one.
krigo666, Big words out of a small brain.

Alt: The character The Boulder from TV series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” captioned “The Boulder feels conflicted.”
morrowind, (edited ) Doesn’t markdown let you add alt-text in the form
![alt text](url)
?Wait lemmy test
test alt textedit: yea it works
edit2: maybe not
edit3: no it def does
baronvonj, I don’t see any alt text in yours when I click the image in my mobile client.
morrowind, It’s showing up in the html, maybe your image viewer doesn’t show it?
baronvonj, Probably.
SnipingNinja, Sync supports alt text on xkcd at least, not sure if it does for uploaded images.
capital, Been wondering why people just upload with “image”.
db2, I try to always add useful alt text.
baronvonj, I’ll definitely try and remember to do it moving forward, I didn’t know about that feature.
terminhell, So, medium?
nevial, No, it’s clearly the size of a small boulder
doctorn, I just realized I have a giant cat the size of a small cat…
Nature is amazing!
craftyindividual, Fortune favours the boulder.
CryptidBestiary, Would you rather fight a large small boulder, or a small large boulder?
MajorMajormajormajor, This reminds me of the joke about the little person psychic who escaped jail.
They’re a small medium at large.
Sotuanduso, Flows a bit better if you just use little psychic instead of little person psychic. Or maybe short psychic so it’s not as obvious.
justhach, Americans will use anything but metric smdh.
morrowind, My feet are 0.83 feet long
qisope, you’re not legally allowed to call them feet then
Sotuanduso, You can get around those rules by spelling it wrong.
Pheet.
lugal, Ok, my pheet are 0.83 pheet long
Much better
coffeebiscuit, Feetish
FlyingSquid, Whatever king it was had really big feet though.
n7gifmdn, I hope you are joking. There are no decimals in standard measuring systems. Decimals are a Communist plot. ;-)
ioney, 83/100 feet
Rodeo, Unless you’re doing any kind of precision manufacturing, then it’s decimal inch notation.
bizzle, The steel that I cut has thickness measured in millimeters, the program wants it in fraction inches, and the torch spacing is in decimal inches. It’s a catastrophe but Im getting pretty good at in/mm conversion
