If you don’t come running when they cry, they understand it’s sleep time after a while and go to sleep. My youngest doesn’t cry at all and accepts his fate.
Took us about a week of battling but it’s worked on all 3 and maintains our sanity.
No, that doesn’t mean we ignore all crying, but there is a difference.
