Some of these additions are just silliness. That said, I could barely make it through the article, as it kept just randomly starting a new sentence halfway through a thought.
It also referenced somebody, but then didn’t finish the sentence before moving on to talk about someone else. I have been annoyed by all the “this article was written by an ai” comments I’ve been seeing lately. Having read this article I see what people mean.
Scrabble is dumb because it’s all about memorizing high scoring words from a list. As I recall, the guy who won the French Scrabble championships never even knew how to speak French.
The exorbitant price is the whole point of luxury stores like Dior. People who shop there would stop if everything became reasonably priced. Do you really expect people of their status to live like the rest of us?!
If you’re going to post this video to 8 different communities at least add a context. Why are you sharing it? What is it? What’s the significance? Seems like a lot of work to just get a bunch of downvotes
Speaking ass an app developer, the person who chose the text is probably not the person who did the development or testing. This is probably a default template where they just say “what’s the title, what’s the message”. It would be very unlikely that it was anything butt a coincidence.
I mean. There are quite a few legit bots around. Especially on the news subs. The fediverse isn't quite as saturated yet with legit content submissions.
I’m using sync on Android and I don’t believe that I can change the setting there. I can change the setting for whether I filter bot accounts, and so that confused me for a bit about whether I was misinterpreting that setting.
I did find the setting in a web browser on my home instance. And I thought I corrected it, and I thought I saved my change. Updates and screenshots to follow momentarily.
When I go to look for this setting again in my home instance, I find that it is in fact now correctly set. It was not correctly set when I posted. So my fix stuck.
There’s a streamer I sometimes watch on twitch who used to play a game and then spend some time watching analog horror that chat had recommended. He intentionally phrased his stream titles so they’d show up in twitch notifications as, “now: [game/activity] later: anal…”
