Spotless giraffe born in a Tennessee zoo

lorez, Somebody forgot to texture.
ikilledlaurapalmer, It was in Brights Zoo in Limestone, Tennessee
Entaty_13, That’s a camel, not a giraffe!
Shard, There’s camel in the zoo sweating buckets right about now.

Ummm… Actually… it’s one giant spot. The white is a “background” coloring (see presumed-Mom, to the right).
Catoblepas, I wonder if this is a reflection of the ancestral coloration of giraffes (loss/improper functioning of the genes that give them spots) or a neat individual mutation? I bet the genetics would be fun to look at
Bruno, Nonetheless loved by its mommy. Love diversity 😁
imgonnatrythis, At what point are we just going to call it a long necked horse?
JoShmoe, Well it turns out that giraffes are brown with white netting.

Widowmaker_Best_Girl, Lil homie has more gains than I do and he’s just been born. WTF I hate human biology.
ninjabard, The fact that the zoo is not considering Spot as a name is criminal.
