Hamas is maintaining a stockpile of more than 200,000 gallons of fuel for the rockets it fires into Israel and the generators that provide clean air and electricity to its network of underground tunnels, according to U.S. officials, current and former Israeli officials and academics.
Israel released photos of Hamas fuel stores however I don’t understand how they can know if there is anything in them.
Maybe night time infrared imagery indicates that full ones retain heat? (And maybe water would retain it differently?). But even if we presume that is possible, why don’t IDF just bomb them if they are so sure it is Hamas fuel?
