VPN service or other method to watch/download YouTube videos blocked everywhere but Somaliland, Kosovo and Northern Cyprus?
Some VPN companies claim to provide service from these countries, but sometimes it’s a lie.

And I’ve just found post on Reddit that says “videos that are only available in those countries aren’t downloadable because there aren’t any ip’s that youtube recognize as being from those countries”

There are like 20 invidious instances, should I check them all?
gim, No. Sounds like that video has been taken down. You can check it on archive.org
XEAL, I had already checked on archive.org, but I checked again. Only 3 capures that don’t work. It’s a video uploaded 16 years ago that has been blocked for a while already…
On YouTube, the video page loads and on the player it says “Video unavailable This video contains content from NBCUniversal_International, who has blocked it on copyright grounds”
seostudio.tools/youtube-region-restriction-checke… indicates that the video is only available in the countries mentioned on the post’s title
