skeezix,

STOP EATING TWINKIES. Don’t be a fatto.

Grogon, (edited )

I didn’t read the article but obesity is crazy.

I mean it is really crazy. Just think about it. Nobody wants to be obese, nobody wanted to ever be obese and yet we have people posting body positivity on social media about that being fat is okay.

The problem is obesity honestly should be shamed. It has nothing to do with body positivity. Body positivity is when you have a friggin’ scar across your face or small breasts or moles everyone that you accept it and be happy because you are you. It’s nothing you can change because it is genetics.

Fat on the other hand isn’t genetics, yes some get fat easier, some lose it easier, but in general it all comes down to eating too much (kcal surprise) combined with doing only the bare minimum of steps required each day.

Drive to your local McDonalds, I am sure you have one if Koh Phi Phi even has one and just look at the depressed fat people there. They need help.

FlorianSimon,

If you mean that being obese shouldn’t be celebrated as healthy… Then that’s OK. But it should not be shamed. Life is hard enough already for obese people, and shaming them will probably not have any positive effect on a large scale, on top of being cruel.
