Years ago, I lost a friend who was the only other Trekker in my circles. He had requested in his will that Amazing Grace be played with real pipers for his funeral because of TWoK. I did not know this until already standing at the grave-side service, and the wild piper appeared and started playing.
That’s the only time anyone has caused me to blubber-cry while cursing and laughing at the same time. Asshole. I miss him.
