Probably Debian. It’s basically the most used distro, and therefore has many online resources.
Old software, but very stable.
No bloat, very clean.
No custom programs interfering with any configurations etc.
Support for many server software etc.
If you want an even cleaner OS, where (nearly) everything is under your control and as lightweight as possible, Arch would be for you. There’s the bonus of the AUR, but the huge problem of newest, “unstable” software, though I’ve yet to experience any problem on testing repos, except for the Nvidia drivers. In general, Debian should be enough of lightweightiness and control.
I am already enlightened by Vim for use of Python and C, but compiling and coding Java seems to be much more complicated than a standard Vim setup could handle.
And it needs even less memory than Electron, even if it runs as an own instance with a different profile! I replaced Discord with it a year ago and it’s much better in literally every way. I just wish there would be a FF alternative for Electron.
It looked like that for exactly one summer. Not it’s mixed again. And the lower half of the property is literal wilderness anyway. A mother deer with two fawns likes it a lot. The other plots are also completely mixed, and so large that we just have sheep on there to avoid mowing. Bonus: They’re tame, fluffy, cuddly and warm.
So the caption would need to be: “When you’re on coke and H at your maximum wage chair sitting job and you see Gordon Ramsay walk in with a camera crew”
It started with lagging. While loading the game. Classic lagging as in the dark filter fading out flimmering. Then CS2 kept rapidly switching between Fullscreen and Windowed, on sway. Then it randomly froze. My whole system. No luck with even switching to another TTY. So I force rebooted after 10 mins. Started into clearing orphaned inodes, then staying on that message. Force rebooted again. Still stuck at “Arch_Linux_boot: clean, x/x files, x/x blocks”.
CS2 basically just broke my PC.
I will never touch it again. I predicted it was going to be trash, not gameplay wise but programmatically.
