I just watched Spirited Away. I’ve seen it many times. My sister is a big anime fan so we always used to watch Studio Ghibli movies and they are my favorite anime movies.
I remember watching the Netflix series about him. I was shocked because I actually agreed with a lot of what he had to say about the society we’re living in right now. We’re at the brink of AI being a force that is no longer controllable. We’re seeing deepfakes and other shit that will ruin peoples life. And we’re moving towards a society where everything can be replaced with code.
I myself have grown up to these changes and it’s insane how much our world has changed over the last 30 years. It’s shocking.
most people i know use google by searching whatever question they have and including the word “reddit” at the end to find reddit threads since it currently has the most useful information....

I was considering staying on reddit for awhile but it's become more and more clear that reddit don't want us, so I'm going to migrate over here and to the other platforms. It really sucks what reddit is doing and they are just hurting themselves in the long run. I doubt reddit will just die out but I'm not going to sit back and watch one of my favorite places om the internet become even more autocratic.
