That was the world long after PNG was invented since IE didn’t support it for years, and the majority of people and all the businesses used IE.

Sisko is such a badass! Jake and Nod are way more interesting children than Wesley and Alexander ever were.

I was impressed they managed to get baseball caps to fit on those fat alien heads.

Or ToS, or TNG.

Oddly, the worst two episodes of Trek are in s7, just before the finale, which is one of the best episodes ever.

Ah yup! The French one is exactly what I was thinking of. I didn’t realize that there are different outlets in different EU countries. That’s gotta be annoying when traveling.

It’s impossible to short the US ones too. Plugs only go in one way if they’re polarized, or if they’re grounded. Some devices aren’t polarized and they can be plugged in right side up, or upside down.

That’s different than what my French friend brought over. Aren’t they usually quite bulkier? The ends on her chargers were large round bulky things, with the 3 narrow prongs sticking off. What she had also matched the European adapters I see sold at the electronics store here.

I read that double handed punch was popular in film back then because they needed big, dynamic attacks, that looked powerful, but they didn’t have the fight choreography knowledge yet to use actual fighting moves. This move looks impactful, but doesn’t actually do much damage, so they can go full force without concern of putting a star actor on disability.

This is the most true story I’ve ever read.

I think the high price of housing will eventually prevent most individuals from buying a rental property, and like every other industry, the immensely wealthy corporations will take over. My last landlord paid $800 per month for her mortgage on the place. If someone wanted to buy a comparative property to rent out today, their mortgage would be closer to $5400 per month. There aren’t a lot of people who could commit to that. The ladders are being pulled up.

European plugs are too big and bulky for our liking.

Microsoft has free tier Office tools because they’re data brokers now. TMK they didn’t always have free Outlook, it was bundled in Office, which cost money. I don’t see ChatGPT remaining free forever, it costs too much to run. I could be wrong though, depending on how much valuable data they can scrape from it.
