I got a task to buy a smart phone for my grandparents, they are not techsavy but they know how to use basic functions. Iam looking for an andoid because it has language pack i need. I dont need it to have lots of functions, onley a good camera and a big screen. Bonus points if it can be flashed with some kind of simplefied...
I’m going to answer your question with a question. Do they actually need smartphones? Are they really going to use any of the “smart” features? If not, just get them a Motorola Razr or something and be done with it.
Yo, it’s Save Our Ship, not souls. Elderly people are more likely to need to call emergency services, so having a dedicated button for it seems like a good idea.
Do they force you into it anyways? Two jobs ago I told them that all the time. They used to make us fill out a career advancement plan every year, and every year I said “I’m exactly where I want to be”, but every 6 months they’d stick me at the head of some team and I’d have to do that for a few months until I weasled my way out of it.
My friend and I stumbled across a pot farm once while riding dual sports on fire roads up in those mountains. This was back when marijuana was still illegal. We got the fuck out of there as quickly as we could.
What’s interesting is that people who are generally unhappy have brains that work differently. They look back and they only see the negatives, and forget the good times. I have a family member like that and it’s really difficult, for them and for people who love them.
