Did you just “shut up Wesley” Wil Wheaton?

I’ll add to the mix, if it’s Gnome DE, rdp is built in now, it’s under settings > sharing > enable rdp. Then you can use any rdp client, including windows. (Or remmina if from another Linux box)

18+ What's your favorite episode of MST3k? (lemmy.world)

I remember one day hearing my father downstairs laughing his ass off. Went down to see what was so funny to find he had just discovered Mystery Science Theater 3000, and was losing it watching The Giant Gila Monster. I sat down to watch. I didn’t really get it then, but I’ve been a fan ever since.

Honestly, give me a purse. For utility, a wallet simply doesn’t compare.

I guess I’m so used to thinking in code, and power automate seems hell-bent on being aimed at More business oriented folks. I find it extremely unintuitive, and downright hostile in terms of actually getting something done that I know how to do, but I’m not allowed to.

I hate power automate so so so much

Ok fair point. I still won’t use Plex for a lot of reasons, but good to know

All Plex authentication goes through Plex managed servers. There is no local option unless that has recently changed.

What hobbies help you minimize or avoid navigating commercialism?

By commercialism, I’m aiming at a mix of spending a lot and sifting through bloated business models (e.g. this or that accessory/equipment, microtransactions, etc.). Feel like many can relate to this sort of commercial fatigue, and yet it creeps even into hobbies where one tries to unwind....

Yes, they do in my city. Also public universities. My local uni engineering dept will print for only the cost of filament.

3d printing! A lot of the crap you buy you can make yourself for next to nothing. Also a lot of crap you have can be repaired in similar fashion.

“God created the universe”

“And how do we know God exists?”

“It’s in the Bible”

“And who wrote the Bible?”

“God”

The circular reasoning is what really showed me that it was all bullshit and merely a means of control
