I’m between distros and looking for a new daily driver for my laptop. What are people daily driving these days? Are there any new cool things to try?...
This is what I did, I prepared a partition for windows on the second ssd and it went OK.
The only issue was that I needed to manually add drivers on the windows usb for it to be able to recognized my ssd. It was a bit of a pain to find this information online
I’m a long-time Transmission user but I just learned that VPN killswitches are a thing (how did it take me so long!?). I would like to try another client which has this feature in case I forget to launch my VPN client before opening Transmission. Does anybody have any recommendations? Deluge? QBittorrent? Or any others?...
Yeah, for us the solar installation (5kw of panels) was around US$14k. Since electricity is quite expensive and we live in a sunny country the installation paid for itself in 4 years.

I did some research and thought about replacing Signal with Molly and wondering if it will still work...
Briar is probably the best bet if we want something that works despite any governmental effort to break encrypted messaging.
I never really used it (I don’t have anyone around it interested to try it with me :'( ) but I would be interested to hear more about it if anyone has experience with it.

A symptom of linux past traumas
So, I had to reinstall windows as a dualboot, because I need some CAD tools for work. It was painful but it’s not thebaubject...
