My wife and I just cancelled buying a home because we took a step back and realized that $2700 for living in a house is crazy. And of course the mortgage company is telling us we can afford it. After expenses, we would have no room left to budget for starting a family. Especially with medical care costs. I’m not sure how we’re gonna make it work unless prices come down significantly.

I really can’t think of anything that excel can do that libre can’t in a business setting. Libre office has a lot of functionality. I haven’t touched Ms office in two years now.

I don’t know how it is in other states, but in Florida, a company called Red Apple Dining owns the cafeteria. I hate this company because not only are they providing lower quality foods for profit, they do not allow anywhere else on campus to have a kitchen besides home ec, so now students can’t choose to have a better option besides bringing a cold lunch to school. The school I’m working at has an old kitchen that students would use for projects or fun and now it goes unused because of Red Apple Dining establishing anti-cooking rules. Florida education sucks.

I like to use parsec to play games with my friends. When I found out Linux could not host parsec, that was a bummer for me. If parsec had compatibility to host in Linux I’d switch back immediately.
