There’s also the bow shock you experience as your habits change. When I started, I still had the bad habit of overeating, but Ozempic won’t allow it. I eventually learned to eat less or regret it. How long have you been on it and how much have you lost so far?
It was slow for me. I was on .25mg/week of Ozempic at the start and now am on 1mg/week. It is the right amount for me. I’ve been losing 8-10lbs each month and doing nothing else but eat less. If I were to incorporate more exercise, I could lose it at a higher rate.
I’m down 65 lbs! Ozempic/semaglutide has muzzled my out of control eating. I’ve been on different weight loss meds and none have targeted the cause: bored eating when I’m not hungry. I still eat pretty much whatever I want, but I can’t handle any overeating. I made it through the holidays and didn’t gain any weight! I enjoyed the holiday goodies and was good to have a small amount. Going back for seconds sort of disgusts me. Went to the doctor today and my A1C is 5.8! It’s not been that low in 15 years!
I’m loving KDE’s Neon distro that’s based off Ubuntu. I’ve not had to do much faffing around to get it the way I want it and anyone that has used Windows should be comfortable using it. KDE Plasma feels very polished and streamlined.
On my laptop, I’ve switched to Linux since, despite being built in 2017, doesn’t meet Win 11’s min requirements. This is horseshit, I don’t care how MS explains it or justifies it, there’s nothing wrong with it. I’m sure during development, they realized a 20 year old computer could run Win 11 and decided to make up requirements to force people into buying new PCs.
Anyway, I’m using KDE Neon and I’m loving its ease of use and simplicity. I have barely needed to dive into the terminal to fix anything and KDE Plasma feels very polished and user friendly. To me, it feels like the new “normie-friendly” Linux. And without the horseshit telemetry and Microsoft spying, it’s like a brand new PC.
Also, I think the lights would be perfectly happy being plugged in like that because they are LEDs. I don’t know how many it would take stacked like that before you would have trouble, but I feel like it would be a lot more.
