Die4Ever, to lemmy_support in How do I make my community text only?

I don’t think this feature exists yet, you should request it on their GitHub

github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues

Die4Ever, (edited ) to lemmy_support in error running lemmy docker

What about the logs for lemmy? Also can you share your docker-compose.yml and lemmy.hjson? Make sure to redact the password from pictrs and postgres

Die4Ever, (edited ) to lemmy_support in How do you properly cross-post on Lemmy?

the cross-post button is the correct way to do it, but sometimes I do delete the > at the start of each line to remove the quote block

currently the “cross-posted to:” thing is based on the link URL, so text-posts don’t have that for now, but any link post will get it automatically if you used the cross-post button

(easy solution is to have a url for every post, even if it’s just a simple image)

if you don’t want to make a github account, then probably !lemmy

but you can still search and read the github issues without making an account, so you could check if it already exists, or link the issue if you’re starting a lemmy discussion about it

also people should search the issues on github, a few of these questions already have issues filed with discussions in them, put a thumbs up on a github issue if it’s something you want

Can you share the link to that issue?

Die4Ever, (edited ) to movies in Lift by Netflix is incredibly bad wow

Interesting that the hands on the parents are mostly alright, maybe they were fixed manually. But the kids’ hands are all messed up.

Look at the girl on the far left side lol, she has 3 arms and fingers are bending in every direction, truly horrific

And the boy on the right side has some oddly chonky hands lol and definitely not the correct number of fingers on each hand

Die4Ever, (edited ) to lemmy_support in issue updating to v0.19.1 with internal hostnames?

my customPostgresql.conf file was bad

temp_file_size=1GB

this line was causing it to fail to start, I commented it out and it started working, then I needed to clear my local cookies to load the page for some reason

should “undetermined” be renamed to “show all” or something?

Die4Ever, to lemmy_support in issue updating to v0.19.1 with internal hostnames?

I think my postgres was failing to launch due to the old config being invalid now, will test more another day

Die4Ever, (edited ) to asklemmy in which sublemmy are for feature request ?

submitting issues to their Github is definitely the preferred way and you can put thumbs up reactions to vote for them

otherwise !lemmy seems to be the place
