Hank doesn't look like a boomer anymore. Cotton does. Boomers are 70+ year olds now. Weird.

Especially impressive considering that fever everybody was breaking into at the time.

ElleChaise, to historyporn in Beggar (possibly a WW1 veteran?) running beside King George V's carriage, early 1920s

That's because he worked the fields, not the pole. :P

ElleChaise, to memes in More guns = safer

Yes, but we refer to it as 14 a day, because 13 is bad luck.

ElleChaise, to asklemmy in How would you rate my stick?

What's that, about 3/4" at the top? Seems sturdy, reliable. It could use some decorating, maybe a feather or rounded-off handle. Nice and straight too, not too rigid but not too curved up... I'd give this stick a 7.2 out of a maximum possible score of 10.

ElleChaise, to comicstrips in I used to think X

So being a dick and acting holier than thou causes people to abandon my cause... Hmm... Maybe I should call those people stupid, that'll positively impact the world, surely.

ElleChaise, to piracy in Now Android and Windows devices aren't safe from Flipper Zero either

    Can't burn a CD.

ElleChaise, to asklemmy in Do the right wing women in relationships with right wing guys think it's like a draco malfoy thing where they're a good guy underneath?

Posted 22 minutes ago... and already playing the victim. Big surprise. Must be so traumatic being you.

ElleChaise, to asklemmy in How do I explain to a person that the "red pill mentality" is stupid?

Normal men don't read it either. We're potentially raising more broken young men than we've seen in the last hundred years. And when the aftershocks arrive, people will act surprised like they always do.

ElleChaise, to maliciouscompliance in Businesses can discriminate against their customers? Alright then...

More realistically though, the wealthiest Republican party donors pick the SC, and have been doing so for the better part of the last few decades now.

Nobody else has a real say, and whenever somebody attempts to regain control for the people, the propaganda machine starts a'hummin', and we all start going at each other's throats again.
