Every time I hear some flowery Health Insurance commercial end with something like “we’re different and we care about your health”. I want to scream “So you’ll stop lobbying against single-payer health*care, the system proven to be cheaper and more effective by 95% of modern nations!?”
You’re alienating people. Again, that’s your right, but don’t you think “Community Information” should contain information about your community…?
For the record, I have enjoyed many posts from Star Trek communities, but it’s annoying that I don’t know what this one is about and absolutely nothing is provided…
Ignoring the obvious joke, she doesn’t display any of Jesus’s qualities. Is she gentle, caring, and compassionate? Does she humbly serve the poor and the disadvantaged? Does she forgive her enemies and bless those who oppose her? Does she sacrifice for the benefit of others!?
I’m a Christian and while I don’t know for certain, I believe God knows the heart. But I don’t expect to see her in Heaven…

As long as there’s paper towels you can lather, wash, dry with a clean paper towel, and then use that to turn off the faucet/open the door without touching them. It sounds germophobic, but it really is the best way for us to use public restrooms and protect each others’ health.
Just to be pedantic, I think most people who die in building fires perish due to smoke inhalation. Still bad though, and almost completely preventable!
I’m sorry, but that’s just not true. Like most things: sports, computers, athletics, intellectual pursuits, dancing; they may have wide appeal, but they are not for all people. Just because you finally enjoyed it, and even excelled at it doesn’t mean everyone will.
