Me too. There is always rice sludge on the lid of the rice cooker and dribbled down the sides if I don’t do at least one rinse. Definitely better texture too.
The washing away of some(…) microplastics and arsenic sounds nice, and I’m not concerned over the loss of whatever trace minerals white rice would even have.
Cats and dogs get prioritized over local species that they endanger all over the world yet shelters are full of the poor critters. A local cat used to even come in my house and try to get in my bird room, but thankfully couldn’t figure out the screen. It probably died of old age or coyotes, or getting stuck in someone’s hoarder garage though. I haven’t seen it in a few years and I know a number of people on my street wouldn’t notice if the cat went in the junk pile. And no I didn’t do anything to the cat for anyone looking for something to rage at me over. I picked it up and sent it on its way even though it’s just another menace to the local environment and pet cats really shouldn’t be let out uncontrolled.
They don’t seem to play nice with autostart, on kde at least. Updates sometimes need to retry a couple of times. Other than that no problems on my end. I’m using a read only root fedora spin and mainly distrobox-export apps on arch for anything missing, or rpm-ostree for the odd thing I need to start at boot.
I ordered a mini umbrella for the phone mount on my bike handlebars. So less rain gets on the screen to fuck up touch input. I have yet to actually test it in rain though.
It’s essentially an obligation or responsibility at this point. I don’t actually use arch though. I use a ublue based something image immutable whatever doodad Thinkpad with mods blah cocaine coreboot.
Anyways sail the seas on the penguin, don’t worry about viruses. Within reason though as some configurations can allow windows software to fuck you up.
That’s really cool and it’s pretty sad how corporate everything has become. I’m scared to eat anything even made by people I know though. Except for one of the two germaphobes I know. She doesn’t have pets and her apartment could double as an iso 5 cleanroom.
