That’s weird. I have had zero issues with it so far (talking about distro specific issues) and I am running this with an AMD APU, Nvidia GPU, prime offloading on wayland. Works like an absolute charm. Though granted, this isn’t quite out of the box, you may not need to be a wizard to figure it out, but I would not recommended this to a noob.

It’s getting better for sure, but there are still a lot of issues for me (Plasma 5, Nvidia 545). I think I might stick with it for now until I run into some major dealbreaker for me. Right now I can only game without glitches if I limit my monitors refresh rate to 60hz and even then you will run into issues.

That new design update definitely made the performance worse. And it looks pretty much the same anyways. Wish I could just revert it to the old one.
What sucks the most is Dark Reader. Previously it worked fine for emails, but now it always takes a second to load. I’ll never forgive the thunderbird devs for this “update”.

Just setup an rsync script. I use that KDE backup tool instead. It’s just a gui to setup auto rsync backups.

But good shits are the point. Fiber takes on water in your gut which increases the volume of the shit in question and it makes them super soft or lose shape entirely. Pretty much all my shits are like that because of my high fiber intake.

I for one have student loans. It’s about 2-3k by my estimation. No interest, it’s only half of what I got as loan (you only pay half of it back) and if I can’t pay it, they will eventually just let me off the hook. I will actually financially recover from this.

I’d always argue for Linux Mint Debian Edition, especially for noobs. Regular Mint is fine too, but they have not announced its future as far as I know. What with Ubuntu going all in on snaps and all that. Personally I think they should just make LMDE the default Mint and call it a day. Let Mint 21.3 be the last version and then go all in on the debian base.
