I had the name thing before covid was even a thing (sorry not belittling your pain just had to be a smart alek. really though I have always been so bad with names and faces im not sure I would notice if covid made it worse.)

yeah I get its ot the same thing and if your memory was sharp as tack before its going to be massive. One thing I am thankful for being born in the modern world is that my coworkers names always appears in teams. I get into trouble when im speaking with my screens are covering teams as suddenly I can't get names quite right or tell who is speaking.

rpg and video games. unless you include stupid phone games. honestly anything considered nerdy/geeky from the past except for what is totally main stream. Like they use computers and have see super hero movies and animated movies. Honestly im pretty sure if work did not require it they might not use computers outside of smartphones.

What's a proper response to another dog attempting to mount your dog multiple times and the owner really not doing anything about it?

The owner kind of makes a weak attempt to seem like they’re trying, but if I weren’t there, they wouldn’t intervene at all. I’m asking because I want to make sure that I don’t over react next time.

just go zorin os. it attempts to simulate the look and feel of windows while also having a lot of pre installed applications including playonlinux/wine sot that once its installed you can just go.

that is pretty huge though. right now the limitation of large datasets is the inability for someone to sift through it.

yeah but again there are human limitations. Each is filtered independently but with ai they can be correlated. Its much like how chatbots are useful as the next stage of search. Search itself went from library and texts to online but when results started giving a brief sumary it greatly enhanced the speed someone can go through the links and now with chatbots its essentially doing the link result search for you. As a human you have to go through it to verify but you can get to results much faster.

oh yeah. its an out of the box for folks (like myself) who like that. Lots of apps preinstalled including play on linux. So I can install and start using without adding any additional software. Its not the only oob distro but combining that with the look feel emulation is great and I have never seen an oob that sets up wine so well to use immediately. So its a bit like a combo of a gaming distro with oob and then the lookNfeel thing.

I use the free version. its fine. if you have to have it look like a mac then yeah you can pay or configure it yourself like you would with any linux.

despite my xkdc smartassedness I would love to see something that made an easy to do thing like this for linux https://portableapps.com/ there are some close things but not quite so easy.
