JackbyDev,

This is why us millennials keep our phone boxes

JackbyDev,

If you use a used one, hey, that’s just up cycling!

JackbyDev,

You should put them all on a keyring!

I remember some video. It was a joke about IT remoting in to fix a computer. The icons on the desktop were shaped like a dick. Then it guy took a screenshot and was like I’m definitely sending this to HR as he sorted them alphabetically. Then the other dude was like “no put it back, infant find anything!” And the line that sticks with me, the IT guy says “there’s no sort by dick”.

JackbyDev,

Thanks! I added the link!

JackbyDev,

This is hilarious. It really cut me deep. I don’t think I’ve seen Harold used in the Drake format like this either. The look of dejected shame is priceless.

JackbyDev,

OP you fucking idiot, if you expect people to get over two miles back then you’ve artificially extended the lane closure an additional two miles.

JackbyDev,

Even something like 30 years feel reasonable. It’s insane how long it is.

JackbyDev,

ATT covers something like 99.9% of my city and my street is one of the few that isn’t covered while being within the city’s incorporated area. I can literally walk to city hall. I know that a lot of fiber was laid with government grants and I’m very tempted to see if they were obligated to cover my street and didn’t and try to get them too. I’m pretty sure it won’t go anywhere but I’m tempted to. As shitty as they are they’re way cheaper (with fiber) than Comcast’s Xfinity is.

JackbyDev,

But we’re all forgetting the ultimate game mode, Life of a Peasant.

JackbyDev,

Clone isn’t derogatory.

JackbyDev,

The Boys spoilersThe top frame features Homelander. The bottom has Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy is Homelander’s biological father. They used his sperm. I don’t remember if they altered it but it was definitely originally sperm from Soldier Boy. Basically Homelander views himself as an upgrade of Soldier Boy but Soldier Boy views Homelander as a cheap knockoff of Soldier Boy. If they changed DotA 2 to DotA then the meme would make more sense. DotA 2 and LoL are both successors to the original DotA map from WC3. If Homelander and Soldier Boy were brothers then it would make sense.

JackbyDev,

When I was in highschool I thought Midwest referred to California and stuff because it’s the middle (North south wise) and in the west.

JackbyDev,

Scream is so good. I had never seen it and was left guessing until the end.

JackbyDev,

Look, I feel like you might wanna cook your jets with Freddie, he was a pedophile or something. Or maybe he just murdered kids. Mrs. Voorhees was at least getting a twisted form of vindication for the negligence that led to Jason’s death and depending on your interpretation of the ending may have been literally told by Jason’s spirit to do it.

JackbyDev,

A lot of apps don’t support webp yet. Facebook Messenger is a good example. If I want to share a meme that was webp it says “GIF” in the gallery and says it can’t upload images in that format.

JackbyDev,

Bean versus leaf, if only we could live together in harmony

JackbyDev,

Your daily reminder that VSCode is shit not because of telemetry (take your time foil hat off for one second and hear me out and I say that jokingly with love) but because the extension marketplace is not allowed to be accessed by third party tools (INCLUDING CODIUM) and even then many of the extensions are proprietary, closed source. You’re not even allowed to distribute compiled VSIX files. It’s disgusting. Reading about the troubles gitpod faced that led to the (now) Eclipse Marketplace (idk the name, but it’s for VS Code plugins, don’t be tricked, it’s just owned by Eclipse foundation) is disheartening.

JackbyDev,

You sound like the dude in the image lol. I don’t mean that in a bad way, just a funny observation. I get it too, because whenever my friends and I see a movie we have these sort of debates. I rate 1 to 5 and everyone else does 1 to 10. I say I can’t do 1 to 10 because it is too granular and it’s a subjective thing anyways. It’s funny how something so simple as “rate X on a scale of whatever” can turn into such a massive dilemma.

JackbyDev,

I feel like part of this is that so many of the “openly gay characters” have been either not so open, extremely in the background, or even debatably gay that each new threshold feels like a “victory” or something.
