PSA To people watching YouTube with AdBlockers
You might have noticed that even on Firefox (depending on your lists) YouTube may detect uBlock Origin on Firefox now...
CHROME (google) is planing to implement DRM (kinda) into their browser (lemmy.dbzer0.com)
looks like rendering adblockers extensions obsolete with manifest-v3 was not enough so now they try to implement DRM into the browser giving the ability to any website to refuse traffic to you if you don’t run a complaint browser ( cough…firefox )...
Fellow Extreme Weather Lemmings, what are your Buy it for Life winter boot suggestions?
We got my husband some Helly Hansen boots the year before last and we noticed a hole in them last year. I am right pissed. If I’m dropping hundreds of dollars on boots, I expect to get my money’s worth. What are your awesome boot suggestions to help me do just that?
Why create an instance if you are not ready to post in it?
Lemmy has many nearly abandoned instances. Over the entire period of its existence - several posts. Shouldn’t the instance owner post content to attract users?
