I walked into that aisle recently and got such a warm feeling of comfort and nostalgia I almost started crying. I can’t even explain why. I love it so much.
I’m kind of ashamed to admit my wife and I were living our best life during the pandemic, I sort of miss it (not people getting sick and dying, of course!)
I hate the weird power imbalance that tipping culture creates in American restaurants. I don’t go out to eat that often, but I always try to be super chill with the server and tip well. I can’t begin to imagine having to do that job.
I would say Severance, For All Mankind, & Foundation are all good to great. Apple TV has been doing a great job with the quality vs. quantity compared to other services. I tried to get into Ted Lasso but it wasn’t for me.
Ha my wife and I are watching through B5 for the first time right now. At the beginning of season 2 right now, it’s really picking up although we both grew to like Sinclair and miss him now.
Not a vegan, but a vegetarian. This is why I love Indian food. When food is made from the beginning to not include meat products, it doesn’t feel like it’s ‘missing’ anything.
I am tangentially familiar with some of the twists and stuff from being a kid of the 90s, but I’m still looking forward to it. Already there has been a decent amount of Trek crossover too, so that’s cool.
