As a woman it took 15 years before I found out what was wrong, at the time of finally seeing someone about it they said this was an average amount of time it takes to get help.

My sister in law pointed out that I’m running out of time to have a kid both because of my age and the fact that my mother has stage 4 cancer.

That conversation lead to my alcoholic partner going on a huge binge last night.
