When I had COVID, certain food or sauces were tasteless or even awful. For example, beef burger and mayonaise - they became awful in taste for me.

Took almost A year to get the taste back.

My father had COVID when there was no vaccinates yet and he still hasn’t got his taste back on certain things like coffee.

ETA: Forgot to say his smell is 50/50 as well. He sometimes does smell things and sometimes not.

Ohh, I didn’t know that. If that’s the case, that’s awesome.

Not sure why you got downvoted. Though to your question, never happened to me.

But I did pirate a game, I already owned. Death Stranding. I owned it for the PS4 and I back then hated it.

Wanted to retry it but just for the story. Pirated it on PC, got WeMod put everything on and went to play for story, environment and relaxation.

It was such an amazing experience.

Persona 5 Royal.

I love the social element, characters and such.

Are there r/WorldNews Israel bots or am I hallucinating

I just noticed that there are quite a few users on Reddit from r/WorldNews who are defending Israel unequivocally and when I checked some of the users they seemed to be engaging on topics only about Israel/Palestine and they seem to be extremely active, so I have checked the Internet and there are even some older BBC article and...

Honestly don’t know.

I avoid Reddit politics at all cost nowadays. Using an RSS for the several subreddits I like to keep track of and that’s it.

Reddit is a heavy toxic cesspool when it comes to politics. Blatant racism, hateful comments and advocating for deaths of people they don’t know (as long it is not themselves).

I recommend just avoid it and keep track of it on Lemmy or a different place you like.

Honestly don’t think you can find any neutral news about it. I recommend use multiple news places to get the overall view (that’s what I do).

I feel like every news-publisher is leaning to one or the other.

There is.

Persona 5 Royal has Denuvo Anti Cheat. A immensely hard anti cheat to crack.

The only public cracker that is able to crack Denuvo, refuses to crack Anime-games. Thus it’ll take a long while before it gets cracked.

From what I have read and heard is that there was one Denuvo cracker who unfortunately got caught and is still in trail. Here’s a article about it:

kotaku.com/renowned-hacker-arrested-for-cracking-… (you could also search up on Google about Voksi).

And the other ones who could crack it were hired by the Denuvo company themselves. Regards this one, the people being hired - that’s mostly speculation. I have not found any evidence of it.

It was Memmy for a long time but the developer seems to be on break with development and the app has some irritating bugs.

At the moment using Avelon and it’s really good and still on development.

Someone or a group must have some hate towards Lemmy.World. Jeez.

Just this one. Don’t need more and don’t need a second account for NSFW, as I’m trying to avoid it.

This is kind of why, I feel like it is a bad thing. People can’t vote normally or are afraid to do so in a way.

Some won’t use the vote system to avoid possible trouble (arguments, downvoting back etc).

I personally have started to care way less about the upvote and downvote stuff. Reddit made it clear to me that it means nothing.

It just internet points and if something goes wrong, it’s all gone anyway.

Switched yesterday and so far, really liking it. Might even say, it’s better than Reddit at the moment already.

No heavy echo-chamber/ toxicity (yet). Just waiting that it becomes more active with more communities.
