Basically the same thing I replied to this same post shared on privacy@lemmy.ml. This 2.5 years old video proves nothing, I don’t trust Facebook nor Meta, but this is a poor quality post.
My phone is no longer getting updates, so it’s time to buy a new one. The hardware could easily last 1-2 more years but I’d have to replace the battery, which is a pain on my phone....
On Android using Bromite and Mull (with uBlock). Have seen here mention of Chromite. A quick search shows that it is a fork of Bromite. Has anyone undertaken a meaningful real world comparison or general experience?
As @netchami said, Bromite hasn’t been updated in months, it shouldn’t be used. Cromite is a proper successor forked by one of the contributors of Bromite.
