I’ve exported my subscriptions and imported them in FreeTube. Seems to work even better since it doesn’t try to hide videos in my subscription list.

Same here. I would have been tempted to pay for premium light but they removed that, and I’m not paying extra for things I don’t use.

Only on sunday, when there’s special visitors over. The rest of the time we sit on plastic chairs in the room next to the kitchen.

That’s how some of my relatives do it. Even when we were over we were sitting in the plastic chairs. I don’t get why they would live like this.

Probably things like living paycheck to paycheck. Needing a new washing machine or some other device but not being able to afford that yet. Not being able to have your car repaired or buy a car so you have to use public transport and walk long distances to get to your work.

I mean that’s what I imagine. A little money would make those problems go away. But when your paycheck only covers your rent, bills and food, you never get to save up for things.

Back in those days you could listen to the record/cassette/cd in the store before you bought it. They would have these headphones you could use.

So it’s not as big of a problem as this meme would make it seem.

Oh, that sucks. Mine had like some headphones at the counter with a few buttons in the counter itself. And you would just hand the person behind the counter the cd you wanted to listen to and they’d put it in.

But from what I saw on old footage was they just had a line of a few turntables with headphones and you could just listen to the records.

This may have been the mom and pop shops and not the chain shops. Though I don’t know about that.
