maybe if we’re the only and first one, our odds of ‘success’ are much lower, and aint nobody gonna show up to guide us. if millions of previous had already ‘succeeded’ then its likely smooth sailing with a well tread path.
apples vision pro reportedly has it nailed down. meta occulus has been hacked where its reasonably good. in a controlled lab setting with substantial training i’ve read of desktop computers doing ok at it with dedicated hardware etc.
what hardware/software/settings/training are you hoping for?
i wonder what we would come up with if there was a contest to design a beautiful cell tower. a giant tulip? space needle? treehouse? inconvenience store? a blinky scroll tower?
im really surprised there isnt a hat form factor smart device. imagine a baseball cap with a HUD display mounted upside down in the brim, plenty of room for batteries and weight balanced.
more importantly: which celebrity voice should it have while being like this? gilbert gottfried? samuel jackson? mike tyson? fran drescher? bill burr? sam kineson? paris hilton?
