I haven't had any issues with medium personally. But I have pretty extensive blocking as a whole (ublock, adguard, ghostery, ddg, bypass paywalls clean, canvas blocker, etc)
oh yikes. if youtube starts preventing me from watching videos I'll probably start using an alternative platform. Though I have a pretty rigorous adblock setup on my browser, and I haven't seen an ad in probably years lol. Sponsorblock is also great.
The best troll would be to just openly allow actual direct link piracy on /r/piracy. if reddit bans /r/piracy, then it functionally re-privates the sub (the thing they wanted to avoid). And if they allow it, then it's a bastion of actual piracy. win-win!
