My guess is: Too outdated packages. Debian experimental fixes this, but it’s not noob friendly to enable those. And flatpack is too recent.

Unfortunately, those don’t support a stylus. Although I love seeing a RISC-V tablet (although I wouldn’t be able to use it, since I’m not a kernel developer ;)

Sorry, that’s just not a helpful comment. It kind of ignores my usecase.

It’s a tablet and I’m not going to use it for big workloads.

If you know of any PCs with stylus support that I can carry in the pockets of my jacket with modular RAM, please do tell.

Comments are lies that will happen sometime in the future

Comments are always overlooked if gode gets refactored. Language servers can’t/won’t parse them and they’re easy to overlook.

If you name your functions/variables clearly, put complex logic into clearly named functions and keep the same level of abstraction in every function (which never exceeds roughly 50 lines), you hardly need any comments, if any.

Comments are for behavior that’s not possible to convey clearly through code.

The critique is a bit too broad to explain simply in a lemmy post.

I can try, but keepin mind that this will not be exhaustive:

The police’s job is to reinforce the current power structures and keep the people that currently are in power at the top. That has been their historical purpose, too. Dating back to the 1800s when they violently beat down strikes and workers’ protests. They are always “legitimized” by “the rule of law” without adressing how legitimate the law is. Speznaz, Gestapo and the Stasi all “upheld the rule of law”, but where highly immoral. The same goes for Frontex.

When the police acts immorally and/or breaks the law, the social structures most likely will prevent repercussions for those police officers. If you get beat up by police, other officers will pretty much always cover for their colleagues.

The image of the police’s job being to “protect and serve” is the result of active police propaganda (so-called “Copaganda”)

They should be reminded of the first “A”.
