What's 'offline'?

PugJesus, to historyporn in WW2 weekly ration of sugar, tea, margarine, 'national butter', lard, eggs, bacon and cheese for an adult in the UK, WW2, 1942

Yeah, rationing was easily one of the most hated things on the British home front. Rationing continued several years after the war and more or less directly led to the Labour government losing to the Conservatives over the issue of continuing rationing.

Mind mentioning where I said this was the first test?

I think OP is just grabbing posts from “fakehistoryporn” off Reddit and not understanding the difference…

You do realize that's not the kind of material "fakehistoryporn" posts, right? It would be labeled something more like "Experimental worm-removal by shockwave, 1865"

Just another of the (probably hundreds) of shitty meme communities OP mods or posts too. At this point I’m just blocking their whole account.

That's what the block button is there for.

Damn, here I thought I was living in a capitalist dystopia. Truly, the race mixers pulled one over on me. Must be the mixed blood in me making me vulnerable to communist brainwashing.

Aren't they? The sponson mounted gun is so weird, but I love it.

M3 Grant/Lee, the tank that came before the M4 Sherman. They couldn't engineer a solution for the heavy main gun to get on the turret and they needed a tank for North Africa as quick as possible, so they just slapped it on the hull and called it a day as they moved on to the M4 Sherman.

He looks like he's leaning forward a bit, but his proportions seem normal to me. Might just be the angle of the camera.

Also, gotta consider that the uniforms of the period are often a bit baggy.

Don't think so. Minimum height for US conscripts was 5'2. Guy on the right is probably a tall fella.

Nowadays they don't have to do that. The dogs outrank the humans, so they can just give orders directly. o7

OP, the Kbin link should have /m/ instead of /c/ to work.
