Any way to add an "It's now safe to turn off your computer" message at the end of shutdown?

I want to do this for my raspberry pis since they don’t have an ACPI system in place. I think it would look really nice combined with XFCE and the chicago95 theme. So I would prefer it if it were showing it like the windows 95 shutdown screen, maybe using an image file? There’s a lot of information on the shutdown process on...

Is it because they’re improving, or is it because Adobe keeps pissing people off and donating to GIMP is cheaper than a Photoshop sub?

I don’t actually have any opinion on gimp one way or another, it does what I need it to do.

Eating anything thinking it’s going to be something else is always a bad time.

I hated grapefruits because the first time I bit into one I thought it was an orange.

I hated rye bread because the first time I had it was one of the swirly ones and I thought the dark swirl was chocolate.

But both times once I gave it some time and tried it again knowing what it was I loved it.
