There are some minor choke points (restorecon if installing with a “dirty home” and installing RPMFusion), but yeah, otherwise it does a great job of staying out of your way.

That aesthetic is called Frutiger Aero, and would certainly be a welcome return from the current sterile design we’re currently using.

“Frutiger Aero” is the blending of nature and technology (e.g. bright nature wallpaper on a computer monitor). “Aero” is the glossy UI design.

Before you perform another task on that hard drive, try photorec. You might be able to get a majority of your files back if they’re important
