I think my favorite thing about Lemmy is that it feels like Reddit used to. Less negativity, more engaged users (I think). I know it will be fun to watch Reddit die, but if I put spite aside what I’m really mad at Reddit about is more about what Reddit became and maybe part of that is when the general internet user started...
And I have the same reaction I have to most of these types of things - I wonder what it tastes like, and wish I could try it.
I've never understood why these things trigger such uproar. It's not like it's poison or some sort of bodily secretion or something - it's just a somewhat unusual but entirely edible ingredient. And it could be good. So what's the problem?
Does anyone else hope the bulk of Reddit stays there?

For me, it’s “Clear Storage”. Sometimes I try to clear the cache of some mobile game I’m playing and end up deleting all my progress instead.
