I avoided the Instant Pot for a long time because it sounded cheap and all those functions couldn't possibly work well.

I was wrong. I was so wrong.

I discovered yesterday that they no longer sell 16 ounce containers of ricotta cheese. They're all now 15oz or 30oz. So if you have a recipe that needs four cups of cheese you have to either adjust the rest of the recipe down or deal with having a 1/4 cup less cheese than you really need.

Fuck capitalism.

That's a lot of lasagna...

If I print up an invoice for the time I've spent blocking all their tracking cookies, do you think I could take it to small claims court? It's gotta be at least a couple hundred bucks worth of labor at this point.

My high school driving instructor gave me the tip that if I'm within the solid lines at the intersection and going at least the speed limit I can probably make it.

He also taught me that going with the flow of traffic was safer than rigidly adhering to the speed limit.

Favourite FOSS Torrenting Client for Linux that has a VPN killswitch?

I’m a long-time Transmission user but I just learned that VPN killswitches are a thing (how did it take me so long!?). I would like to try another client which has this feature in case I forget to launch my VPN client before opening Transmission. Does anybody have any recommendations? Deluge? QBittorrent? Or any others?...

I use this Docker image of Transmission that has a built-in VPN configuration. That way only the torrent traffic goes over the VPN and it starts automatically.

Usenet is okay but there's some stuff I can only find on torrents

Yeah, the stuff I can't find on Usenet is usually old and very obscure. Anime, without the right usenet subs, is particularly hard to find.
