From just some cursory googling it looks like they are toxic when raw, but frying them neutralizes the toxicity. That’s probably why you’ve never noticed!

I always find with these recaps that I don’t remember listening to one specific song more than others, and I’m constantly surprised by what the top 5 are. That being said, I usually just listen to the personalized mixes, so maybe part of it is the algorithm deciding that I really like a song because I haven’t skipped it 🤷
